It’s Time to Transform Your Mindset
Have you ever heard of the phrase, “Capturing a person’s mind is the key to controlling their life”? When it comes to learning how to love and believe in yourself you must understand the power of your mind. A healthy and positive mindset is important to have to enjoy your success and handle your failures. This is also why it’s extremely important who you allow in your personal space. If you are the type of person who is hard on yourself, downplay your strengths and persuade yourself to believe that you’re less than - the last thing you need is someone who speaks with the same tongue. Romans 12:1-2 tells us that, “the way we are "transformed," the way we learn to live Christ's Life, is by the renewing of our minds”. The power of change lies within the very thoughts you believe and nurture daily, whether subconsciously or on purpose.
You will find it difficult to receive love if you don’t understand the love within. You will struggle to reach your final destination if you don’t believe you are worth traveling past failures. What you get out of life is a direct reflection of what you put into yourself. The power of positivity is real. Positive thoughts can change your feelings. A great strategy for renewing your mind is found in Philippians 4:8-9. It contains 8 elements to focus on to transform our minds:
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me-put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you."
The power of words and positive attitudes will change a day of pain into a day of praise and purpose.
