"Speak What You Seek Into Existence"
I am unconditionally loved, celebrated, revered, appreciated and honored beyond measure or comprehension. I am empowered to accomplish that which I was born to do. I am fruitful in all my endeavors. I am resourceful. I am settled and happy with who I am and what I am called to do. I am discovering new horizons as I become the Christopher Columbus of my industry, profession and chose field. I am a humanitarian; giving to those who can never repay the favor. I am never void of joy or gratitude. I am making a difference in this world.
I got this from Dr. Cindy Trimm in something she wrote for you to “Command Your Year”. The things she gives you to speak into your life are very powerful and profound and I do my best to speak these things over myself and my daughter’s life every day. Words of affirmation is a love language, but it’s always what fuels positive thinking and boost self esteem. In short, be careful and aware of what you speak over your life and others. It’ll change your life. If you don’t believe me, try it for 30 days and see if you don’t notice a difference.
At my church, Family Christian Center located in Munster, IN we are having a women’s conference this November 18-19th. The conference is entitled “I AM” and it got me thinking about the things that follow behind the “I am” statements we make when we talk about ourselves. Just take a moment to think about the things that you say about yourself to others. I think we can agree that most of those statements aren’t positive and probably aren’t true either. We tend to think the worse of ourselves and usually try to beat someone to the punch and come down on ourselves first.
Well I am excited about this conference because for two days I get to be uplifted and fed by some amazing women who I know are just going to be super real and candid and just remind me of who I am and whose I am! Did I mention that my future bestie Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts will be speaking? No? Well yes darling, the amazing Sarah will be there and I am too excited because I love her! Her book “Lost and Found” hit me on so many levels. I just admire her courage to write such a book especially in this day and age with social media.
So, I would like to invite you to come and be a part of the conference “Writing My Story”. It is a night and day dedicated to women of faith and their friends. You can expect to enjoy some uplifting stories, faith-filled messages and lots of laughter! My church will be providing child care as well so if you’re like me and you don’t have a sitter bring the babies too! As you know I am a travel agent so if you need a cheap flight/hotel to get here and enjoy this experience feel free to contact me and I will be happy to help you!
