In a recent interview with MTV, 50 cent threw some series shade at the new FOX hit series, “Empire.”

Back in December, 50 slammed the show for allegedly using the same marketing strategy implemented in his own Starz show, “Power.”

This time around, 50 is criticizing “Empire’s” story line and comparing it to “Glee.”

“It’s like “Glee,” with a little hip-hop music in it,” he said, adding, “I feel like the story line is moving extremely fast. My character didn’t show up till episode four in “Power” because I was in jail for a long period of time. Taraji [P. Henson] came home on the first episode after 17 years…what happened to the rest of the story?”

But despite his criticism of the show, Jackson congratulated the”Empire” cast and crew  on its success,  sent a special shoutout to Henson, and predicted a love connection between them in the future.

“Taraji, you fine motherf—er, I’m happy to date you one day. How you know this ain’t the love connection connection we been waiting for girl? you know I say things I don’t mean,” he teased.

Oh 50, 50, 50….do I sense some saltiness coming from you? Let’s learn to applaud the success of another man’s hit show without throwing shots. “Power” and “Empire” are both great shows and should be praised as such.

What are your thoughts on 50’s “Empire” comments. Sound of below!
