On Monday, Bill Cosby—-who has been accused of raping and/or sexually assaulting over 20 women—released a video in an effort to salvage his undeniably tarnished reputation.

But instead of addressing the controversial accusations, Cosby decided to issue a video about his humor and his upcoming stand up  comedic performances that he claims will be “hilarious.”

In the video—first obtained by ABC—Cosby is shown wearing fuchsia pajamas sitting next to a rotary phone.

While speaking on the phone, Cosby mentions his upcoming show and says, “You know I’ll be hilarious.”

The video also came with a message that reads: "Dear fans, I hope you enjoy my wonderful video message that's filled with laughter... Hey, hey, hey, I'm far from finished.”

So far, Cosby’s video has sparked immense outrage from critics and social media users who want Cosby to address the allegations.

#BillCosby "breaks silence" to promote more gigs?! Disgusting. Who are heads of venues still booking him? What can we do @JuddApatow ?” Twitter user, @CarpoolCandy wrote.

Another Twitter user, @idalismediatv wrote, “Bill Cosby said "He's far from finished."Sorry , but he & Brian Williams are done take your bows gentlemen you've earned plenty. #billcosby.”

Since being accused of rape, Cosby and his team have made it a point to avoid addressing the scandal. Cosby has continued his comedy show tour despite the various allegations made by many women including supermodels, Beverly Johnson and Janice Dickinson.

Since the alleged rapes happened more than 40 years ago, Cosby cannot be tried in court.

Meanwhile, more women continue to come forward to make claims against Cosby.
