10 YEAR OLD GIRL TAKES A STRIDE AGAINST CANCER

In 2014, more than 200 children being treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and their families were touched by the amazing efforts made by a 10 a year old girl. Ciara Chanell Howard is a Brooklyn Nets Kid Dancer, a Jordan Brand Ambassador and a life saver to many. She currently makes an amazing stride in her community by raising funds, collecting prom attire and registering potential bone barrow donors.

On May 3, Ciara's foundation "Children Making A Stride Against Cancer" hosted their 2nd annual fundraiser. The fundraiser included a prom attire clothing drive and a fashion for a cause runway show. The event was held at Alhamabra Ballroom in Harlem NY and hosted by Power 105.1 and Revolt TV personality Angela Yee and Tyrone Chablis. In attendance were Just Raymona (Celebirty Fashion Stylist/Dancer) , Ciara and Eden Sanaa Duncan-Smith ( The Annie Movie), Mendeecees (Love&Hip Hop) and his wife Yandy Smith who was awarded for her positive efforts in the community.
