Rapper Rich Homie Quan has recently apologized for rapping about non consensual sex  in his leaked song “I Made It.”

In the song, Rich Homie Quan raps, “I don’t want your ho, just want that cookie from her/She tried to resist so I took it from her/ How are you gonna tell me no?/ You must not know who I am.”

Naturally, Rich Homie Quan’s lyrics sparked immense backlash from critics and social media users forcing him to apologize for his insensitive rap.

In addition to apologizing, Rich Homie Quan explained that the song was allegedly released without his consent and before it was finalized.

“I apologize that it’s out; and I have asked my lawyer to pursue a cease and desist on the song immediately. To be clear, I would never condone rape,” Rich Homie Quan said.
