Mariah Carey recently appeared on Australian show “Kyle and Jackie O” and discussed her less than positive experience on “American Idol.”

Mariah was once a judge on “American Idol” for season 12 and failed to appear on the show again.

When Kyle and Jackie O asked whether she would sign up to appear on the show’s final season, Mariah abruptly replied, “Hell no.”

So why doesn’t Mariah want to come back on “American Idol?”

Well, according to her, it was the “worst experience” of her life.

“I’m not going to get into what it was, but let’s just say I don’t think they had any intentions for us to have a good experience doing that show,” she added.

Though Mariah did not specifically mention who on “American Idol”  she didn’t like, there is speculation that she most likely was referring to her epic feud with Nicki Minaj who was also a judge at that time.

She went on to say that she didn’t like how “American Idol” pit  “two females against each other.”

"It should have been about the contestants instead of about some nonexistent feud that turned into even more ridiculousness," Mariah continued. "I would never want to be involved with it again. But everybody else did like it.”
