On Friday, April 24, Chrissy Teigen appeared on “The Meredith Vieira Show” to discuss why she showed off her stretch marks in a recent Instagram photo.

Chrissy posted an Instagram shot of the stretch marks and bruises on her legs earlier this month and was praised by her fans for embracing her imperfections.

When host Meredith Vieira brought up the photo again during the interview, Chrissy revealed that she was tired of editing and photoshopping her photos which is why she shared her unfiltered photo to her Instagram fans.

Moving forward, Chrissy vowed to never photoshop her Instagram photos again.

“I have those apps, those Facetunes, those Photoshopping ones, and I just didn’t feel like doing it anymore — and I’m never doing it again, because I think we forgot what normal people look like now. The standard is so ridiculous,” Chrissy said.

In addition to making her vow, Chrissy also threw some shade at other celebrities and social media users who over edit their photos.

“It’s gotten to the point where they’re not smoothing their skin anymore, they’re actually changing the shape of their body,” she continued. “Nobody can compare to that when you’re fixing yourself so much. It’s so unfair.”
