On Sunday, Mariah Carey released her newest single “Infinity” off her greatest hits album “1 to Infinity.”

And while many of her fans were excited to be getting a new song from the pop diva, many couldn’t help but notice that some of the lyrics in the song seemed to be throwing shade at her soon-to-be ex-husband Nick Cannon.

In the song, Mariah sings, “Why you mad?/Talking about you're mad?/ Could it be that you just lost the best you ever had? ... Name hold weight like kilos/ Boy you actin' so corny like Fritos/ Wouldn't have none of that without me, though.”

Though Mariah’s lyrics seem to be musical jabs thrown at her ex, she insists that her new song has nothing to do with Nick.

In a recent interview with EXTRA, Mariah explained that “Infinity” is a song about loving yourself.

" 'Infinity' is like love equals you first,” Mariah said. “There’s a section of the song where it's like a chant – 'You're leaving, you're leaving, you're out the door infinity loving me more and more' – meaning you have to love yourself first, it can't be all about somebody else's thing or their issues, it has to be you and then you can deal with the rest of the things in your life."

So far, Nick has yet to respond publicly to Mariah’s alleged diss track.
