Rihanna is at it again, taking the cover of “V” Magazine, in her signature scantily-clad fashion. With the release of her latest single, “B*tch Better Have My Money,” Rihanna seems to be paying homage to a 90’s Lil’ Kim, performing the single on the iHeart Radio Awards stage in a replica of Lil Kim’s infamous get-up in the “Crush on You” video, and this magazine cover looks to be no different. The entire look doesn’t seem to be focused on replicating another Lil Kim look, but the blonde wig and colorful makeup definitely screams “90’s Lil’ Kim.” Nonetheless, Rihanna is looking fabulous on the cover and even spoke about her upcoming project, R8: “Dude, I’m in love with my interludes. This one called ‘James,’ joint is on constant repeat,” she said. “[The album is] soulful and aggressive, whether it’s lyrically, musically, or just the tone of my voice.”

R8 is set to be available for pre-order on itunes May 7th.
