It’s the battle of the divas and the battle of the shade.

Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears may have looked like best gal pals in the music video for their song “Pretty Girls,” but it seems that was short-lived.

Iggy recently participated in a Twitter Q&A and was very candid with her fans. When one fan asked why “Pretty Girls” flopped, Iggy seemingly pointed the blame at Britney and accused the pop diva of not wanting to promote the single.

“its difficult to send a song up the charts without addition promo and tv performances etc. unforfunately im just featured…” Iggy tweeted in response to the fan.

Naturally, Britney’s fans were not too pleased with Iggy’s response and let her have it. This in turn prompted the “Fancy” rapper to send out another tweet.

“My comment is factual, it applies to any song. I dont have to suck the womans asshole 24/7 to be her friend, do i? bye girls,” she wrote.

So what did Britney have to say about this?

Well Britney said a lot without saying much. She took to Twitter and kept her read cute and shady.

Without directly mentioning Iggy, Britney tweeted about having her Vegas shows all year long.

She tweeted, “Can’t wait to get back to Vegas. So thankful I have shows for the rest of the year to look forward to... #YouWantAPieceOfMe.”

And for those of you who didn’t catch that read, let’s break it down for you.

Unlike Britney, Iggy does not have many shows to look forward to in the future since she recently announced the cancellation of her “Great Escape” tour for the second time.

Britney let Iggy know in the classiest and shadiest way possible that she is booked and busy!

It’s been a rough year for Iggy. It appears that her success since releasing “Fancy” has quickly taken a downfall. Between the backlash she’s received for appropriating black culture to the many celebrity beefs she’s had via Twitter, Iggy’s future career looks bleak.

Perhaps Iggy should go back to not tweeting. Twitter only seems to get her in trouble.
