Rihanna Releases First Single “Work” Featuring Drake From “ANTI” Album

By: Anny Jules

On Wednesday, January 27, Rihanna graced us with her highly anticipated first single “Work” featuring Drake from her even more highly anticipated album “ANTI.”

After leaving fans wondering for several years when her latest album and single would surface, Rih-Rih chose this week to release “Work” which features the Bajan native songstress singing in patois over a caribbean infused beat featuring Drake.

If you haven’t heard the song, take a listen below.

After playing the song a few times, we must say that “Work” is definitely a great appetizer for what’s to come for Rihanna’s “ANTI” album. “Work” keeps our hips moving conservatively until the full release of “ANTI” which we hope will have us breaking a full sweat in dance moves. We also appreciate her speaking patois in the song and embracing her caribbean roots.

So far, Rihanna’s “ANTI” album is only available to stream on TIDAL. Rihanna has yet to release the album on iTunes.

For those of you who haven't heard the album yet, here is the tracklist:

1. "Consideration"

2. "James Joint"

3. "Kiss It Better"

4. "Work"

5. "Desperado"

6. 'Woo"

7. "Needed Me"

8. "Yeah, I Said It"

9. "Same ‘Ol Mistakes"

10. "Never Ending"

11. "Love On The Brain"

12. "Higher"

13. "Closer To You”

Since the release of her first single, Rihanna’s  “Work” has become the most played radio single in its first day of public consumption.

Slay Rihanna Navy. Slay.
