Terrence J. Leaves E! News to Pursue Acting and Producing Full-Time
As 2015 comes to a close, many people including Terrence J are in the midst of making some life-altering decision to start off the new year.
Terrence recently announced that he is leaving E! news to pursue acting and producing full-time.
Prior toappearing as an entertainment anchor on E! for three years, Terrence had established a career in hosting for ten years in North Carolina. His hosting experience eventually landed him one of his most noted TV gigs as “106 & Park” host on BET.
Terrence later left the popular music show to anchor E! News, but now it seems that Terrence is ready to pursue another passion.
"I took some time off this summer and I produced and I starred in my first feature film, and I'm really excited about it and it's coming out at the top of the year. It's called The Perfect Match. I knew I would have to leave to go on a promo run for that...I've had a lot of opportunities come in in the acting space, both behind the camera and in front of the camera. And so, with all of that said, I wanted to announce today that I'll be leaving E! News,” Terrence said about his departure.
And though Terrence has spent three years on the E! network, his good-bye was abrupt and a day after his announcement he officially left E! on Wednesday Dec. 16.
Best of luck to Terrence on his new acting endeavors. We look forward to seeing what you do next!
