In an attempt to call out Donald Trump for his racially insensitive comments about Latinos, Kelly Osbourne made an equally negative remark of her own.
During a recent appearance on “The View,” Kelly Osbourne addressed Donald Trump’s comment that most Latinos are criminals and rapists and should be banished from the U.S.
In response to Donald’s ignorant remarks, Kelly said "If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?”
Naturally, Kelly’s comment sparked major backlash from viewers and social media users who called out Kelly for being racist.
Even “The View” co-host Rosie Perez called Kelly out on the show saying "There's more jobs than that in the country for Latinos, and Latinos are not the only people who clean toilets.”
Of course, this prompted Kelly to do some serious damage control and she posted an apology to Twitter and Facebook admitting her mistake, but insisting that she is NOT racist.
"I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions. In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT," she wrote, continuing, "It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole,” she wrote.
